Since we have a 55" 4G tv I thought to invest $40 in a new ROKU HDMI premium player was a good idea. It worked quite well and I witnessed more than one small difference in the picture.
It's about our fourth Roku device. My only complaint about this item is that the cable (HDMI and the power cable are both too short. The instruction states to use cables sent with the item.
Since my HDMI input is on one facet of the television and my power source (yes we have a power strip) is on the other side of just one option I'm putting ROKU itself in the tv at the bottom.
We have a sound bar in front of the tv, but it doesn't seem to interfere with remote utilization.
I can suggest putting this ROKU against a thing because it is too small and too light, It is about the width of two long slender fingers I am and no longer.
I don't like remotes as much as my old one. it's more light and fewer buttons (ok button is on medium cross arrow). No, the old one doesn't match the new ROKU device.
But I put the tape from the old against the new to make it easier to track it.
There was no problem containing my channel after I finished muttering about ins mahal short cables and getting it all in place.
