I'm shopping this Roku to expand into the fourth room, and I like to see that it's on offer alongside a little roku type fee I'm the other one. Of course, this bare-boned unit requires you to sacrifice some options against more expensive units, such as the ON/off TV button, volume check, and plug-in earphones on the remote. All these small cases are easy to solve together using roku and TV remotes or together using the free Roku mobile app for iOS or Android.

The main problem for some customers could be the 2.4 GHz wireless connection. The streaming was perfect, there was no slack or distraction, and while it loaded it seemed to be nothing more than any other Roku unit we had.

Installation is easy and there should be no hiccups for most users. This was the first time Roku wanted me to sign up with a Google account, so it took an extra few minutes for me to set it up, but otherwise it wasn't harder than usual.

If you are looking for a solid unit and a good price, you can't do better than this unit.
